Frogden lies in the Scottish Borders countryside, seven kilometres northwest of Kelso along the A698. This small village sits in the Tweed Valley, surrounded by rolling hills and farmland typical of the border region. Drivers reach it via the A698 from either Kelso or Coldstream, with connections to the A68 from Edinburgh and A697 from Newcastle. The area's rich history includes proximity to Flodden Field, site of the devastating 1513 battle where King James IV fell.
