Frankwell
England
England
Frankwell forms part of Shrewsbury's western suburbs, connected to the historic town centre by the elegant 18th-century Welsh Bridge across the River Severn. The A5 from Birmingham and A458 from Wales converge here, making it a natural gateway to Shrewsbury. The area sits in the Severn valley with its characteristic river mists and mild climate. The Welsh Bridge itself, built in 1795, remains one of the finest examples of Georgian bridge architecture in the Welsh Marches.
