Foxt is a small Staffordshire Moorlands village reached via the A52 between Stoke and Ashbourne, or the A521 from Uttoxeter. It's popular with Peak District visitors and those heading to Alton Towers. The village sits in rolling moorland with good walking routes and valley views. The Fox Inn has welcomed travelers on the old Leek-Ashbourne coaching route for over two centuries.
