Foxhole, Cornwall

England

England

Foxhole lies in Cornwall's former china clay mining area, just north of St Austell amongst the distinctive white spoil heaps. The A391 from Bodmin provides the main access, whilst locals use the shorter B3274 from St Austell. Cornwall Airport Newquay sits 12 miles northwest. The village name derives from the Cornish for "foxes' den."
