Foxfield is a small Cumbrian village perfectly placed for exploring the southern Lake District, sitting between the Duddon Valley and the coast. Reached via the A595 or through Broughton in Furness from the A590, it's a popular stop for drivers heading to the western fells or continuing north toward Scotland. The village railway station retains its original Victorian ironwork brackets from its former ornate canopy.
