Four Lanes lies in Cornwall's former mining heartland between Redruth and Helston, accessible via the A3047 from Redruth or A394 from the west. Most visitors arrive off the A30 at Redruth, with journeys from Truro taking 20 minutes. The area has over 60 EV charging points nearby. The 1837 Methodist chapel, built from local granite, still stands at the original crossroads that gave the settlement its name.
