Forge

Forge lies in mid-Wales's Dyfi Valley, 2km from Machynlleth on the A487 trunk road. Most visitors arrive via the A470 and A489 from the south, whilst the A487 continues north towards Snowdonia. The area enjoys typical Welsh valley weather with frequent rain and misty mornings. Electric vehicle charging is well-covered with roughly 17 fast chargers nearby. The village's name recalls the water-powered ironworks that once operated beside the River Dyfi.
