Forest Lodge occupies a dramatic Highland setting along the A82, Scotland's main route to the northwest. The settlement sits beneath the Black Mount peaks, with Bridge of Orchy railway station just 6km away providing both road and rail connections. Most traffic follows the A82 between Crianlarich and Glencoe, whilst approximately ten EV charging points serve the remote location. The road here marks the edge of Rannoch Moor, where the A82 crosses one of Europe's largest blanket bogs.
