Fordley is a small North Tyneside community near Newcastle, easily reached via the A19 from the city center or A1 for longer journeys. The area sits in former mining country with good links to Newcastle International Airport 12 miles west. Electric vehicle charging is excellent with over 350 fast chargers nearby. The village lies within walking distance of Segedunum Roman Fort, where authentic Roman baths from Hadrian's Wall still survive.
