Forcett is a small North Yorkshire village on the A66 between Richmond and Darlington. Most visitors arrive via the A1(M) and Scotch Corner junction when traveling to the Yorkshire Dales. The village sits amid typical Dales farming country with stone walls and green pastures. Forcett Hall, a Georgian mansion that once entertained the Duke of Wellington, remains the village's most notable landmark.
