Folke is a small Dorset village on the A30 between Sherborne and Yeovil, surrounded by typical chalk downland countryside. The A357 provides north-south connections, whilst local lanes link nearby villages like Alweston. Most visitors use longer routes, often stopping whilst exploring Dorset or heading to the West Country. The village features one of the county's last thatched bus shelters with a Ham Hill stone bench.
