Flodigarry perches on Skye's remote Trotternish Peninsula, reached via the A855 coastal road from Portree, about 25km north. The route hugs dramatic cliffs beneath the Trotternish Ridge, with views across to the mainland Highlands. One public fast charger serves the area, though Portree offers more reliable EV infrastructure. The Victorian Flodigarry Hotel was once home to Flora MacDonald, who famously helped Bonnie Prince Charlie escape after Culloden.
