Firsdown

Firsdown perches on Wiltshire's chalk downs about 10 kilometres from Salisbury, reached via the A30 and local lanes from Junction 8 of the M3. The village sits amid rolling downland typical of the area, with the nearby MoD Boscombe Down airfield adding an aviation presence. St. Peter's Church houses remarkable 13th-century wall paintings that somehow escaped destruction during the Reformation.
