Filton lies just north of Bristol in South Gloucestershire, easily reached via the M4 (junctions 16 and 17) or the A38 Gloucester Road. This former aerospace centre, where Concorde was developed, sits along major routes connecting London, Wales, and the Midlands. The enormous Brabazon Hangar, built in 1946 for aircraft construction, dominates the skyline as a reminder of Filton's aviation heritage.
