Filleigh is a small Devon village set among rolling hills about 10 kilometers southeast of Barnstaple. Most visitors arrive via the A361 North Devon Link Road, turning off onto country lanes that wind through the surrounding farmland. Long-distance travelers typically use the M5 to Junction 27, then follow the A361 north. The village is notable for Castle Hill, an impressive Palladian mansion that's been in the same family for over six centuries.
