Filgrave is a small Buckinghamshire village between Olney and Milton Keynes, reached via the A509 and local roads off the B526. The area sits in the Great Ouse valley with typical rolling farmland and temperate conditions. Popular routes include short trips to Olney for amenities or Milton Keynes for shopping, with the M1 about 15km east for longer journeys. The 13th-century church of St. Michael contains rare medieval wall paintings discovered during 1960s restoration work.
