Fidden occupies the far southwestern tip of Mull, just 2km from the Iona ferry at Fionnphort. After the Oban-Craignure ferry, follow the A849 west for 37km of single-track road across moorland - about 45 minutes with passing places. Most visitors combine it with an Iona day trip or explore from Tobermory bases. The hamlet boasts one of the Hebrides' finest white sand beaches, with clear views across to Iona and, on fine days, the distant Scottish mainland peaks.
