Fersfield is a small Norfolk village near the Suffolk border, reached via the A1066 and quiet country lanes about 20km northeast of Diss. Most visitors approach from Attleborough or use local routes connecting farming communities like South Lopham and Bressingham. The village stands close to the former RAF Fersfield, a wartime airfield that hosted American B-17 Flying Fortress bombers during WWII operations.
