Ferryton lies on the Black Isle peninsula in the Scottish Highlands, about 30 minutes northeast of Inverness via the A9 and A832 across Kessock Bridge. The area benefits from a mild microclimate between the Moray and Cromarty Firths, with around 17 EV charging points supporting Highland touring. The Black Isle earned its name from Gaelic "Eilean Dubh" (dark island), though it's actually a peninsula that rarely sees snow.
