Ferryden

Scotland

Scotland

Ferryden is a small fishing village on the north bank of the River South Esk, just across from Montrose via the historic suspension bridge. Reached by the A92 coastal road from Dundee (30km) or Aberdeen, it's popular with visitors exploring Scotland's east coast fishing heritage. The village retains its working harbor where traditional fishing boats still moor alongside the centuries-old stone quayside.
