Felling lies just south of the Tyne in Gateshead, a short hop from Newcastle via the A184 and Tyne Bridge. The A1 junction at Birtley connects to the wider motorway network, whilst the A194(M) heads towards Sunderland. With over 400 EV charging points locally, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The town sits on elevated ground above the river valley, experiencing the North East's characteristic mild but damp climate. Most famous for being home to the Angel of the North, the towering steel sculpture visible from the A1.
