Fazakerley occupies Liverpool's northern edge, bridging the city and Lancashire countryside near the River Alt. The A580 East Lancashire Road and nearby M57 provide excellent connections to Manchester and the wider motorway network, whilst the A5058 heads north to Ormskirk. It's home to Aintree University Hospital, one of the northwest's largest teaching hospitals.
