Farlam is a quiet Cumbrian village near Brampton, reached via the A69 between Carlisle and Newcastle. The area sits in gentle Eden Valley countryside with easy access to Hadrian's Wall remains. Local lanes connect to Castle Carrock and Milton, whilst the M6 lies 30 minutes away for longer journeys. The village stands close to the remarkably preserved Roman bath house at nearby Castlesteads fort.
