Eyemouth is a working fishing port on Scotland's southeast coast, just eight miles from England. Take the A1 from Edinburgh or Newcastle, then the A1107 to the harbor. Popular local routes include the scenic coastal road to St Abbs and connections inland via the B6355. The town hosts Scotland's Herring Queen Festival each July, featuring a parade with bunting made from actual fishing nets.
