Etsell lies in Shropshire countryside, surrounded by villages like Ladyoak and Minsterley within a couple of kilometres. The A488 provides the main route, linking north to Shrewsbury (15km) and south toward Bishops Castle, with local roads connecting the cluster of nearby communities. About 30 EV charging points serve the area. The parish church features a remarkably preserved 600-year-old stone carving showing a medieval harvest scene.
