Etchilhampton

Etchilhampton is a small Wiltshire village perched on the chalk downs between Devizes and Marlborough, connected via minor roads to the A342 and A4. The most travelled route leads southwest to Worton, whilst longer journeys use the A4 to reach the M4 at Swindon. The village sits directly on the ancient Wansdyke earthwork, which remains clearly visible as it crosses the surrounding downland.
