Essendon is a small Hertfordshire village on the A414, easily reached from the M25 via junction 24 and the A111. The area offers good EV charging with over 400 public fast chargers nearby, and sits about 20km from Luton Airport. The village features the atmospheric ruins of Essendon Place, an 18th-century mansion now reduced to ivy-covered walls.
