Eryrys is a small Denbighshire village perched in the hills between the Clwydian Range and Vale of Clwyd. Most visitors arrive via the A494 from Mold (15km northeast) or Ruthin (12km southwest), with longer journeys typically using the A55 before connecting to local roads. The village sits at about 200 meters elevation with good views across the surrounding countryside. St. Cynfarch's Church houses remarkable 13th-century wall paintings featuring biblical scenes, rediscovered during 1960s restoration work.
