Erchless Castle

Erchless Castle lies in Glen Strathfarrar near Struy, about 35 kilometres southwest of Inverness via the A862 and A831. The final approach uses single-track roads requiring careful navigation of passing places. Built as a 16th-century Chisholm stronghold, the tower house features a distinctive corbelled parapet and carved heraldic panel above its entrance.
