Enniscorthy sits on the River Slaney in County Wexford, with the Blackstairs Mountains rising to the west. The M11 from Dublin takes about 90 minutes, while it's handy for reaching Waterford (53km), Kilkenny (59km), or Wexford town (23km). The N11 runs right through the center, and there's a railway station on the Dublin-Rosslare line just outside town. About 25 public EV chargers serve the area, including several near the main square. The 13th-century Norman castle dominates the town center and houses the county museum, famous for its displays on the 1798 Rebellion that put Enniscorthy on the map.
