Englefield is a small West Berkshire village about 10km west of Reading, reached via the A4 through Theale or quieter routes from Pangbourne and Bradfield. The M4 Junction 12 provides the main motorway access, whilst over 200 EV charging points serve the area around Reading. Englefield House, a stunning Elizabethan mansion, remains in private hands and frequently appears in period television productions.
