Eldersfield lies along the A417 between Gloucester and Worcester, accessible via Junction 8 of the M5. This small Worcestershire village sits in rolling countryside near the Gloucestershire border, surrounded by the characteristic hedgerows and farmland of the Severn Vale. The Norman church of St. John the Baptist contains remarkably preserved medieval wall paintings dating from the 12th century.
