Edmondthorpe

England

England

Edmondthorpe is a small Leicestershire village near the Rutland border, reached via the A606 from Stamford or local roads from Melton Mowbray. Most traffic comes from nearby market towns rather than long-distance visitors. The village church houses a remarkable 14th-century brass memorial to Sir Roger Beler, considered one of the finest examples of medieval monumental brasswork in the county.
