Edmondbyers

England

England

Edmondbyers is a small Durham Dales village reached via the B6278, connecting to the A68 about 15km east or the A692 from Newcastle (25km). The A689 from Bishop Auckland provides southern access through Stanhope. With over 50 fast EV chargers nearby, it's well-positioned for exploring the North Pennines. The 12th-century church contains rare medieval wall paintings of St. Edmund discovered in the 1960s.
