Edgeside occupies the Rossendale Valley in Lancashire, reached via the A681 from the M66 (junction 3) through Edenfield, roughly 25 miles from Manchester. The A681 forms the valley's main artery, connecting to Rawtenstall and Bacup, whilst minor roads climb to Newchurch and surrounding hills. With approximately 150 EV charging points across Rossendale, electric vehicle infrastructure is well-developed for the area. The settlement's Victorian terraced houses climb the hillsides in distinctive rows that follow the valley's natural contours.
