Easby lies just outside Richmond in North Yorkshire, easily reached via the A6108 from the town centre. Long-distance visitors join the A1(M) at Junction 51 near Scotch Corner, then follow the A6108 west through Swaledale. The village sits beside the River Swale amongst typical Dales countryside of stone walls and sheep pastures. Around 30 public EV chargers operate in nearby Richmond. The ruins of 12th-century Easby Abbey stand dramatically by the riverbank.
