Dury is a small Shetland settlement on the eastern coast, reached via the A970 from Lerwick then the B9071 toward Laxfirth. The 20-minute drive crosses typical moorland dotted with lochs and ancient sites. About 4 EV chargers serve the area. The name derives from Old Norse "dyr" for deer, though none remain on the islands today.
