Durnfield is a Somerset market town easily reached via the A303, the main route between London and the Southwest. The A37 provides north-south connections to Bristol and Dorchester, whilst local roads link surrounding villages like Montacute and Tintinhull. RNAS Yeovilton lies just minutes away. The town's 15th-century market cross, carved from local Ham Hill stone, remains the centrepiece of Thursday's weekly farmers' market.
