Durdar forms part of Carlisle's southern suburbs in Cumbria, just off the M6 corridor near the Scottish border. The A595 runs through the area, connecting to Junction 42 of the M6 for long-distance travel, whilst local routes link nearby villages like Blackwell and Brisco. With over 40 EV charging points around greater Carlisle, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The area sits close to Carlisle Lake District Airport, one of northern England's few remaining active grass airstrips.
