Dunoon perches on the Firth of Clyde's western shore, reached by ferry from Gourock or a scenic drive round Loch Long via the A83 and A815. The town serves as the Cowal Peninsula's hub, with the A815 connecting nearby villages and approximately 40 EV charging points supporting longer journeys. Its restored Victorian pier stretches 800 feet into the Clyde, dominating the waterfront.
