Dunboyne is a handy commuter town in County Meath, just 25 kilometres northwest of Dublin city centre. The M3 motorway gives you the quickest route from Dublin via the M50, while the R157 offers an alternative through Blanchardstown. It's well positioned for reaching Maynooth (11 km) and Leixlip (7 km), with decent charging stations along the M3 corridor for electric cars. The real draw is Dunboyne Castle Hotel, built around an authentic 18th-century Butler family castle with original stone walls still intact.
