Dromineer perches on Lough Derg's eastern shore in Tipperary, a proper sailing spot with marina facilities and waterfront dining. The village sits 10 kilometres from Nenagh on the R493, giving you easy runs to the M7 for Dublin or Limerick. Local drives hug the lakeshore toward Killaloe and Ballina, with grand views across to the Clare Hills. The old stone pier from the 1840s still stands where turf boats called "cots" used to ferry loads across to Clare markets.
