Dripsey is a quiet village in County Cork, sitting 20 kilometers northwest of Cork city along the R579. Most folk arrive via the N22 from Cork, turning north at Ovens through the Lee Valley's gentle hills. It's a handy spot for reaching Blarney (15km) or Cork city (25km), with Cork Airport about 30 kilometers south. The village is home to Dripsey Woollen Mills, a working textile mill that's been spinning away since 1859, still producing traditional Irish wool products today.
