Drinagh sits on the N71 in West Cork, about 90 kilometres southwest of Cork through Bandon and Clonakilty. It's a handy base for exploring the Beara and Iveragh peninsulas, with the R586 heading to Bantry Bay and the R585 toward Skibbereen. The town connects farming communities and coastal villages across the rolling countryside, with the Caha Mountains to the south. There are roughly a dozen fast charging stations for electric vehicles in the area. West Cork Distillers operates here, producing Writers' Tears whiskey from local barley and offering tours.
