Down St Mary is a small Devon village reached via the A3072 from Crediton, about 15 miles northwest of Exeter. The main route follows the A377 north from Exeter through Crediton, then west on the A3072 through rolling farmland. Local drivers use this road to reach surrounding villages like Copplestone and Bow. There are roughly 20 EV charging points in nearby towns. The 13th-century church of St Mary contains a rare medieval rood screen with original painted saints.
