Doulting

England

England

Doulting lies in Somerset's Mendip Hills, three kilometres from Shepton Mallet via the A37. The village sits on elevated limestone ground with typical Somerset countryside all around. The A37 provides the main connection north to Bristol (30km) and south toward Yeovil, whilst the B3139 offers a scenic route west through the Mendips. Most traffic is local, connecting nearby villages like Cranmore and Chesterblade. The area has over 60 public EV charging points. Doulting's working quarry has supplied honey-coloured limestone for over 400 years, including stone for Wells Cathedral.
