Dorney is a small Buckinghamshire village between Slough and Windsor, famous for its Olympic rowing lake. Take Junction 7 off the M4 (Slough West) then follow the A4 for 3 miles. Local routes connect to Eton, Windsor and nearby Thames Valley villages via quiet country lanes. The purpose-built 2,200-metre rowing course, constructed for London 2012, still hosts international competitions.
