Dores perches on Loch Ness's southeastern shore, just 10 kilometres south of Inverness via the scenic B862. This wee Highland village offers one of the loch's few public access points, complete with a beach and boat launch. The Dores Inn sits right beside the water, claiming to be amongst the closest spots worldwide for a pint whilst monster-spotting.
