Dollar nestles in the Ochil Hills along the A91 between Stirling and St Andrews. The town sits in a sheltered valley with good motorway links via the M90 at Kinross. It's popular with walkers heading into the Ochils and offers decent EV charging infrastructure. Dollar Academy's imposing domed building, dating from 1818, towers over the main street as one of Scotland's most distinctive school buildings.
