Dods Leigh lies in rural Staffordshire among rolling countryside and traditional villages. Access is via the A518 and local B-roads, with the A50 providing connections to the M6 for longer journeys. The village retains one of the county's last working red telephone boxes, still used when mobile signals fail in the surrounding valleys.
